Of all the chefs made by Instant Pot, it is obseved that still the classic Instant Pot Duo 6-Quart is the best electric money cooker. Make basic cooking tasks and new Instant Pot models new and more expensive, and much better than cooks from other brands. The duo also proved to be a reliable device that will adhere to weekly use for years.
While it may not look like it, the Duo’s control panel is accurate and will cook soon after the pot is out of the box (but read the manual regularly). She is one of the chefs who cook cleaning, too. The Instant Pot’s stainless steel pot will last longer than the non-removable inserts, and the replacement parts are easily accessible.
Aside from its many buttons and spacecraft-like appearance, the Instant Pot Duo (like most Instant Pot models) is easy to use. We cooked the beans within minutes of scanning the orders. By comparison, rival controls such as the T-fal were tough, and the Cuckoo Cookbook Q5 Premium could not pass.
We like that Instant Pot has three temperature settings for cooking pressure and subtraction, while some chefs in its (cheap) category offer only one or two. You can make a soup base sofrito using a low heat setting or caramelize onions and garlic on high. Instant Pot also has two compression settings – low and high – and some of the models we’ve tested have only one.
The Instant Pot Duo has 14 cooking programs (including pre-set food recipes such as rice, stew, and yogurt, as well as handmade cooking, light cooking, and pressure cooking). You can also adjust the time and pressure level within the scheduled functions and the machine will remember this adjustment the next time you open it. Some Instant Pot models have pre-installed cooking systems, but most of that is for direct use like cooking eggs or baking cake, and we haven’t missed our years of using the Duo at home. The only notable recipe for the Duo is sous vide, some Instant Pots (including our development options). But that’s not something everyone will use, and it doesn’t work as dedicated sous vide immersion circulator.
All Instant Pot electric pressure cookers come with a stainless steel inner pot with a tri-ply disk at the bottom to help distribute heat evenly. Most of the chefs from other products have headless pots that look like they don’t eat brown food and are not very strong in the test. Even if you are careful not to scratch the garment that does not win, it will eventually wear out even after a few years of use. A stainless steel pot, on the other hand, will outperform the actual working time.

The lid on the Duo, like all Instant Pots, tends to clean up easily. It has tabs that fit snugly on any handle, so you can park it where it’s most convenient. By comparison, we found that the doors hanging on other models, such as the T-fal and Ninja Foodi, made cleaning and keeping the cook difficult.
You can easily rest the lid of the Instant Pot on one of the pot handles while cooking or moving.
Like all modern pressure cookers, Instant Pot has many safe ways to keep the pressure at a safe level and prevent you from opening the lid when the pot is under pressure (which can lead to dangerous explosions in hot liquid).

Real Instant Pot program status. A simple search for Pot Instant Google reveals many blogs, recipes, and cookbooks dedicated to this chef. And it is worth it. We’ve heard of many people, including Wirecutter staff, who have used their Duo for years and still love it. The bottle has a one-year warranty, and replacement parts are available online.
We think the six-liter model in size is very useful for home cooks, but Instant Pot makes an eight-liter version for larger collections and a smaller 3-quart version.
