Steps Using Quick Analysis Tool:

  1. Select the Data
    • Highlight the Obtained Marks (B2:B4) along with Total Marks (A2:A4).
  2. Open Quick Analysis Tool
    • Look for the small Quick Analysis button at the bottom-right of the selection.
    • OR, press Ctrl + Q to open the Quick Analysis menu.
  3. Choose “Totals” Tab
    • Click on the Totals tab in the Quick Analysis menu.
  4. Select “Percentage”
    • Click on the Percentage (%) option.
    • Excel will automatically calculate and display the percentage values in the next column.
  5. Check Your Results
    • The percentage of Obtained Marks relative to Total Marks will now appear in the next column.
    • If needed, you can manually adjust the formatting using the Percentage (%) button in the Home tab.

This method is the fastest way to calculate percentages in Excel without manually entering formulas.
