Overstated Hardware
We are integrating metalwork onto drawers, shelving and doors. Also, mixed materials and dark colors are still really famous, which added sophistication to the room.
Creative Cabinetry
For me, one of the keys to awesome design is when a designer and a client have the faith to take a risk together and select patterned tile or a kitchen cabinet color that is unexpected and bold. I faith in 2023, we are going to see even more bold cabinet color choices, mixing with other unique and interesting finishes.
Stone Slabs
Stone slabs are dominating backsplashes from the ceiling to the countertop, cascade to the floor in wrapping around islands and waterfall edges. It’s an exciting development, as these stones are so beautiful and unique, and truly enhancing these spaces as the basic neutrals they replacing never could.
Painted Islands
The all-white kitchen might be out, but what about homeowners who need to update their existing space without a gut job? One of the good manners to inject color into the kitchen is painting the island base. It instantly activated a sterile-looking space and doesn’t want construction.
Mixed Metals
We’re going to see a lot more blending of various finishes in a kitchen: Brass, bronze, nickel, stainless and more. By mixing finishes, you get the visually richer, incredibly inviting looks.
Butcher-Block Islands
A butcher-block island is not only stylish, but incredibly durable and functional. We love using walnut as the primary stuff for the butcher-block island, as it really warming the space. For added functionality, utilize a butcher-block island that has a tiny fridge for the extra storage space and plenty of cabinets where you do keep huge appliances hidden.
Lower Kitchen Drawers
Kitchens with lots of low drawers, instead of cabinets, are on the rise. Drawers glide out easy way, and do store so much. Bend down, get on your knees and hold a flashlight is no longer a necessity. Plus, extra large cabinet hardware is the icing on the cake in some kitchen — don’t skip or skimp on this must-have.
Brights Mixed With Woods
There will be more unexpected hues for the cabinetry. We have seen a lot of bright, saturated colors in 2022, and I faith we will still see color but chalkier and lighter shades and definitely mixing with woods.
Marble Slab Backsplashes
Subway tile backsplashes are began to look dated, and we are seeing a bigger shift towards marble slab backsplashes — which added drama and depth to a kitchen. Not only is it easy to clean than tile, a countertop and marble backsplash sets the tone for the complete space and making a big statement.
Secondary Kitchen Spaces
A kitchen design trend we are seeing in 2023 is cooks room. Homeowners who are in requirement of additional space will like this trend. A scullery acts as secondary kitchen storage — hidden coffee nooks, spaces for food prep and so much more.
Wood Cabinetry
Keep it current by painted cabinets and mixing wood, and embracing natural wood grain and tone rather than selecting heavy stain and glossy varnish. I like an island in wood with a wooden hutch-style upper cabinet or the perimeter cabinetry painted that rests on the counters.
Blue and Green Kitchens
Shades of blue with much more green undertones are the refreshing change. It immediately develop a wow factor, adding interest and serve contrast. Deep hues always offer a classic feel that never felt overly trendy.
Wallpaper Backsplashes
I like to add on print and texture to the kitchen to bring a bit of life and interest into the space. Doing it with patterned wallpaper behind an open wall shelving such as this is lower-risk but highly impact.
Swaths of Stone
While stone in kitchen spaces is the long-standing tradition, more and more kitchens are making a point to feature natural stone as the central component of beauty. Dramatic stones utilized widely throughout the marble waterfall islands and kitchen space that highlighting the beauty of the material are becoming increasingly famous design choices.
Designated Bar Areas
Painting the bar zone in the bold hue, such as hunter green, is a great manner to add on a pop of color to a neutral kitchen and generated a designated bar region in the open-concept space. We’re seeing a lot of earthy tones in kitchen for 2023. Hunter green beautifully pairs with clean lines, classic furnishings, and natural accents.
Sustainable Materials
We would see a movement toward more timeless, classic designs and durable, honest, and natural materials like wood, steel and stone that do standing the test of time. The recyclability and sourcing of materials would also be taken into account to a good extent.
Furniture-Style Cabinets
One very interesting trend going into 2023 is offering your kitchen cabinets a much more furniture feel. This can be accomplished easy way by add on actual furniture pieces, such as utilizing vintage desk or a farmhouse table as the fabulous center island. To continue that feeling in your cabinets, apply furniture-style legs in the toe-kick zones.
