When I think of summer snacks, I picture refreshingly cool treats, fruits, and veggies. I still need flavor, I just don’t need anything too heavy.

Few of my all-time favorite summer treats have to be fruit salads and homemade popsicles. They’re loaded with goodness, bright, and fresh.

I think a sweet apple working best for this, so I utilized a mix of pink lady and fuji.

But since you cover them with peanut butter, any apple variety might work. 

If you have a peanut allergy in the family, go ahead and apply almond butter.

However, if you want this to be nut-free, trying drizzle caramel over instead.
